31st May was a sad day at B&G Cleaning Systems, as we said goodbye to Paul Hammond. Paul retired after 19 years’ service as a service engineer at B&G.
Paul is well known to our customers across Leicestershire in particular, as he visited their premises for servicing calls on a regular basis. A great asset to us, Paul is highly knowledgeable and experienced – a key member of our service team.
An occasion like this demands a celebration so, along with the traditional long-service award, Paul was presented with an engraved tankard and a specially-made cake, in the shape of a Mac Drop Revolution, one of Paul’s favourite cleaning machines.
What an amazing cake – and it tasted great too. To see how true-to-life it was, check out the “real” Mac Drop Revolution here. Paul also got a mention on the MAC International website.
B&G staff members gathered in the office to present Paul with his cake. We all enjoyed working with Paul over the years and will miss him greatly, but wish him all the best for a long and happy retirement. Paul’s plan is to spend more time with his wife and family and catch up on some outstanding jobs at home, whilst finding the odd hour or two to visit his local pub (with tankard in hand of course).
As Paul starts on his new adventure, the B&G service team is still raring to go. We’d like to welcome Donovan, our new service engineer, to the team and assure all of our customers that the excellent standard of service they’re used to will continue!
All best wishes and thanks to Paul, from everyone here at B&G.
