Steve Owen, Pressure Washer Sales Manager

Steve Owen Pressure Washer Sales Manager

As Pressure Washer Sales Manager, I’m primarily responsible for

  • Pressure washer enquiries and sales
  • Advising customers on suitable pressure washing equipment for their needs
  • Keeping up to date with new developments and trends in pressure washing
  • Site visits and equipment demonstrations

I’ve been with B&G since 2001. I’ve had fantastic training from colleagues and suppliers and of course I’ve gained a lot of experience over the years, so I have a good understanding of all types of cleaning equipment and I’m B&G’s first port of call for all pressure washing related issues. I also look after sales of chemical foggers.
In this industry, we’re learning all the time of course and life is never dull!

Things I’m proud of

B&G is a great place to work. We have a good team here and we all enjoy helping people to solve their cleaning problems – I particularly like getting lots of positive feedback from satisfied customers. I have the opportunity to meet customers all around the country in all sorts of businesses. One of my recent highlights was a visit to the Mercedes F1 team, to demonstrate and then supply a pressure washer for cleaning their transport vehicles.
Outside of work, I’m a life-long fan of my local football club, Coventry City, and I spent several years working as a youth coach for them. I can still remember the FA Cup win in 1987 as if it was yesterday, a proud moment for the club and for me too. Good times and bad, I’ll always support the Sky Blues.

How can I help?

Choosing the right pressure washing equipment, at the correct specification, requires a thorough understanding of what’s to be cleaned and the environment that the machine is to be used in. Pressure, flow and temperature all play an important part in how effective a pressure washer is in different situations and from small portable pressure washers to larger “industrial” machines, to static and trailer mounted pressure washers, there is a huge range to choose from. That’s where I come in – tell me what you want to clean, and I can recommend the best options for you, whether it’s for regular pressure washing activities or something more specific like vehicle cleaning with static pressure washers, graffiti or chewing gum removal or cleaning buildings using the latest soft washing techniques.

I only recommend machines that I know are reliable, good value and suitable for the job, so if you need advice on choosing pressure washing machines, please get in touch.
