Kerrie Leigh, Sales Director B&GCongratulations to Kerrie on her recent appointment as Sales Director at B&G Cleaning Systems. Kerrie joined B&G in March 2020, to replace the retiring Terry Wakefield as manager of floor care sales. She brought with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in the cleaning equipment industry and made an immediate contribution to the sales team, even in the midst of a pandemic!

It became clear very quickly that Kerrie had much more to offer, with a flair for management and a complete understanding of the sales process. She earned the trust and respect of both staff and customers in a very short space of time.

The decision to appoint Kerrie as B&G’s Sales Director in August 2021 was an easy one. Kerrie has brought a fresh dynamic to not only the sales team but also the overall management of the business.

Kerrie is a great asset to B&G, always looking for creative ways to solve customers’ cleaning problems. She is a real team player – energetic, dynamic and with excellent relationship building skills, so will play a major part in our future development.

Here’s what Kerrie says:

“I joined B&G as I was looking for more of a challenge and wanted to be in a role where I could grow and build on my knowledge and experience and hopefully make a difference. It was a great decision as I have been nurtured and looked after by everyone at B&G, so was able to settle in quickly and have been given the freedom and trust to run with ideas and in turn make them a success.

“I have achieved so much in my short time with B&G from securing the largest machine order to winning the service and supply contract for a national retail company – the largest contract B&G have ever obtained. I proposed a process, presented this, and worked with the client over a period of 8 months before winning the contract. Since then, along with the rest of the team, we have worked hard to implement my ideas and have made a success of the contract.

“I was overjoyed to be approached about becoming the Sales Director after such a short time with the business. My aims are to continue to develop my skills and knowledge, and to support and develop the sales team at a time when things are changing very rapidly in the cleaning industry. Together, we are looking to expand our product range and services to meet the needs of an even wider range of customers.

“I just want to say a huge thank you to Martin and Ian for the opportunity and for the trust that they have placed in me, and also to all of the “family” at B&G who have all welcomed me so warmly since day one.“
