There are a vast range of high pressure hoses on offer in the 21st century so you will be able to find a product for all levels of pressure and chemical resistance, depending on what the job requires. You’ll even find places where you can commission your own bespoke hose, manufactured to your exact requirements
Using a high pressure hose as a cleaning solution is incredibly effective and flexible. After the usual methods have failed, to minimise the use of chemicals or to clean well first time, a high pressure hose will invariably do the job. A range of hose attachments are available which enable functions such as multiple jets, rotating or fixed pencil jets, fan sprays or a lower pressure spray for requirements such as rinsing. It’s also no challenge to find a hose that will work well within a wide range of temperatures from -20°C to over 50°C.
The length of your hose depends on the requirements of your machine or the job(s) that you plan to undertake. For longer, stand alone hoses, you may want to consider storing it on a retractable hose reel for safety and good housekeeping.
It’s important that you use a hose that has a maximum working pressure rating that is higher than the machine you are using with it, otherwise the machine’s pressure capacity will be too powerful for your hose and this will result in damage to the tubing and/or its operator. If the hose came as part of the machine at purchase then you should expect the manufacturer to have provided the correct level of high pressure hose.
