- There could be a risk of bodily injury

- Possibility of faulty electrical equipment

- Possibility of eye injury
- Danger of a fire
- High temperature hazards

- Hot Liquid hazard

- Lone working could occur
- There may be a noise hazard
- There could be scolding to the skin
- There could be a skin irritant
- There could be sparks
- There may be spillages of fuel, chemicals or water
- There could be hot splashing
- There could be steam
- There is a tripping hazard
- There is a wet floor

How is the risk controlled?
- Keep the area clear of non essentials
- Avoid loose clothing
- Avoid trailing leads if possible
- Place barriers to restrict access
- Ensure that the operator is a competent person
- Check that electrical equipment is fit for the purpose
- Do electrical safety checks
- Eye protection must be worn
- Good house keeping observed
- Portable appliance testing carried out
- PPE to be used
- Pre-start check undertaken
- Protective gloves to be worn when chemicals applied
- RCD circuit breakers to be used
- Routine maintenance put in place
- Routine safety check undertaken
